DIY Lavender Mason Jar Candle

Diy Lavender Mason Jar Candle

Candles are cool for creating a cozy atmosphere, and you can make some scented candles yourself! The supplies are soy wax, soy wicks, glue, a double boiler/microwave safe container, a thermometer, fragrance and herbs of your choice. Using a double boiler melt your wax until the temperature reaches 160-180 degrees Fahrenheit. While the wax is melting, glue your wick to the mason jar using small drops of glue. Remove the wax from heat and allow it to cool to 125 degrees to add scent. Pour wax into a mason jar. Allow wax to harden overnight then trim wick to a 1/4 inch. Enjoy!
