Here is an awesome coffee table renovation that Holly from Chic & Lovely recently done. She came up with an awesome idea how to make a kids chalkboard play table from it. The result is pretty but also very functional. Besides simply painting on it kids can also use it as an eating table. Besides it can still serve as a coffee table.

Just what I have been looking for! Great Idea. I have turned a spare bedroom into a playroom for my grandkids and have been searching for some type of table to put in front of the futon, but wanted kid friendly. I saw a table almost identical to yours at a second hand store, I hope it is still there…….Thanks for sharing.
