Summer is in full swing and we all enjoy having fun outside, going to the beaches and swimming in the sea and pools. There’s nothing more natural than beach and sea decor now, and that’s why we are going to make a cool craft dedicated to the sea and its creatures. This is a simple and cute artwork using popsicle sticks, sea treasures and pebbles and your kids can make it themselves, with maybe just some little help from you. Let’s begin!
Take ice cream sticks and paint them yellow, green and blue
Glue these sticks to other two sticks creating a fence
Paint a seashell in bright red and leave it to dry while making a backdrop for the craft
Print and cut out letters: SEA. Trace them on a blue foam sheet and cut them out; glue the letters to the backdrop
Make spider legs and claws from red pipe cleaners – watch the video to find out how to do that
Glue the seashell on them, add googly eyes – here you got a crab!
Glue the crab to the backdrop, glue some seashells and sea glass and add some white bubbles cut from a foam sheet
If you don’t have any sea treasures, you may go for a colorful SUMMER artwork made using the same materials
Take two colorful clothespins and glue them to the back of the artwork. Have fun!
