25 Cozy Balcony Decorating Ideas

For those who live in big cities balconies are places where they can get some fresh air. It’s a good idea to make them comfortable for that and don’t use them only for drying clothes or as an extra closet space. The first thing to consider is plants and flowers.     My apartment has a nice sized balcony and I live just outside of Chicago and I have a great view of the stars! I am in love with the balcony idea that has the cat sitting on the eggshell cusions… where can I find that decor? Mainly the cushions and base… Thank you in advance and thumbs up on your design ideas

    Nice! Beautiful designs and the plants really help make it lively. The awning look pretty but i would like to use an offset umbrella like I’ve seen here for a little balcony.

    Thank you for the beautiful pictures. I just moved to a smaller midtown urban apartment with a balcony and the view is not too great from the sliding glass doors…parking lot and backyards with junk and cars. So I decided to decorate my southern facing balcony this spring with fresh scented herbs, flowers and vegetables along with a couple of chairs and a table. Please advise as to how to minimize bugs,colors that will survive all 4 seasons and any low maintenance advice is welcomed! thanks
