25 Cozy Balcony Decorating Ideas

For those who live in big cities balconies are places where they can get some fresh air.     My apartment has a nice sized balcony and I live just outside of Chicago and I have a great view of the stars! I am in love with the balcony idea that has the cat sitting on the eggshell cusions… where can I find that decor?     Nice! Beautiful designs and the plants really help make it lively. The awning look pretty but i would like to use an offset umbrella like I’ve seen here for a little balcony.

    Thank you for the beautiful pictures. I just moved to a smaller midtown urban apartment with a balcony and the view is not too great from the sliding glass doors…parking lot and backyards with junk and cars. So I decided to decorate my southern facing balcony this spring with fresh scented herbs, flowers and vegetables along with a couple of chairs and a table. Please advise as to how to minimize bugs,colors that will survive all 4 seasons and any low maintenance advice is welcomed! thanks
