Original DIY Woven Bench Of Jute String

Original Diy Woven Bench Of Jute String

We’ve already told you of some cool benches for a hallway, and here’s one more amazing idea – a woven one! The supplies are three 2x2x8 furring strips, 4 table legs, tape measurer, a pencil, a saw, sandpaper, a drill, screws, jute, cotton cord, a hammer, upholstery nails. Cut your furring strips. You’ll need 2 – 50″ pieces, 2 – 12″ pieces, 3 – 38.5″ pieces, and 2 – 11.5″ pieces. Use your drill to make two holes (about the same size as the thread on the screws you use) right above each other on each end of the 50″ pieces, 5″ in from the end. Attach the 12″ pieces to the 50″ pieces by screwing them together through those holes. Now you have the frame for the top of the bench. Read the following steps to make the bench here.
