looking for ideas for a wedding. Bride wants tree branches as centre pieces for each table – what branch do you recommend – how do we go about painting it white – if I can purchase them ready made even better. All info would be appreciated ….thanks regards Sandy

…was just looking thru some of the many creative ways to use tree branches as decor and I’m eager to get started on some of them. I’ve already started collecting branches wherever i see them, unfortunately I left them all outside and it’s been raining for days so I’m now left waiting for the sun!! In response to Sandy B. if its helpful at all, I was going to paint mine as well so I started first by peeling back top layer of what looked kind of like moss and was stunned at the beautiful patterns underneath in many different shades of natural wood!! I took a sanding block to them and sprayed them with a basic semi-gloss (Krylon I think from Walmart $3.88) and the end result was simple yet so amazing. It would definitely fit in with, I think, any color scheme the wedding happens to be. Whatever avenue you decide to explore I’m sure it will look beautiful, Happy Decorating!!
