If you use pencils or pens all the time and need a good pencil holder where you can easily find a needed one – have a look. The supplies are 6 cork trivets, a power drill, 3/8″ drill bit, some glue. Take the glue and adhere two trivets together by stacking one directly on top of the other. Do the same with the other trivets to make a complete stack. Press firmly when finished. Measure about 2/3 down the stack of trivets and note the measurement; now drill several holes according to this measurement. Now you have the holder that is very convenient in using, you can always find what you need.
