How To Make A Thread Wrapped Belt

How To Make A Thread Wrapped Belt

If you want to renovate a belt or just make it in some colors that suit your outfit, here’s a simple idea! For a wrapped belt you’ll need embroidery floss in the colors of your choice (about 6 packages), a brown leather belt and hot glue. Start wrapping and dab a small amount of hot glue on the back of the belt to secure the thread and then wrap it around. Don’t cross the threads otherwise you’ll spoil the pattern. Make blocks of color of the size you want and wrap the whole thing. If you want to wrap the loop also, don’t forget to seal the threads with glue. Enjoy!
