Terra from mama says sew has showed everybody how to make a nice chic ruffled lamp shade using burlap. It can be used with virtually any cheap tabletop lamp that you can buy and will make it quite beautiful. If the lamp shade isn’t enough you can spray paint the base of your lamp to match your interior colors.
To make the lamp shade you need about 1 /12 yards of burlap, a glue gun and about 10 glue sticks. The whole process is based on gluing together many burlap strips to cover a lamp’s existing lamp shade. That isn’t hard to do but if you want detailed instructions visit tatertots & jello blog.
