Easy DIY Festive Pinecone Swag

Pinecones are the best natural decorations and the most budget-friendly ones, so crafting with them is a pleasure. You’ll need leftover paint, containers, pinecones, wax paper and painter’s tape. Water down house paint or use craft paint. Dip the pinecones and lay them on the wax paper to dry. Some of the pinecones will open at once, the others will be sitting in the oven on a sheet of foil at 200 and will be very slowly opening up. You can sprinkle the edges with glitter, if you like. To attach ribbon to your pinecone, use a short pin, gather the ribbon,  push the pin through the ribbon and into the bottom center of the pinecone. Only about 1/8 inch will go in. Gather the ends of the ribbon and secure with a bow!
