Do you like this alligator table by a Ralph Lauren but can’t afford it? It worth several thousands of dollars but there is a much cheaper way to add some alligator decor to your home. You can update your existing coffee table with faux-alligator skin matting or buy a one that has similar shape to the one on the picture above and cover it with this matting. Here is how you can do that:
Materials and Tools
- Coffee table
- Faux-Alligator Skin Mat
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Hot Glue Gun
Instructions
- Measure the length and width of the top of your table. Visit your local craft or fabric store and buy there faux-alligator skin matting of the proper size.
- Cut the alligator matting to the exact size you need.
- Use your hot gun to attach the alligator matting to the table’s top. You can also use a nail gun to attach the matting to the bottom of the table’s top but that isn’t really necessary.
Believe me, faux-alligator skin matting and a new coffee table are much more cheaper than the original Ralph Lauren’s table.
