Very Unusual DIY Photo Frame Of A Mason Jar

Photo frames decorate virtually any living space. They save memories with photos and add details to interior decor. Here is a very unusual photo frame you can make by yourself of a Mason jar. A black a white photo is placed into vegetable oil-filled jar. The oil preserves the photograph and gives it an aged yellowing effect. A spring of dried lavender make it also smell nice.

this would be very neat to try with a panoramic photo, especially the 360 degree ones. Definitely going to see what I can do with this. Thank you for sharing!

I dont really understand the purpose of the lavender. If the jar is sealed, can you still smell it? And without it, what would it smell of?
