Simple DIY Concrete Outdoor Planters From Pavers

Concrete planters are perfect for use outdoors. They looks contemporary and withstand even bad weather conditions. We showed you how to make a modern cement planter and even an outdoor planter wall. They both aren’t very easy and fast to make but there is a way to make a cool concrete planter without these troubles. You can use pavers glued together to form nice square planters. To glue one paver to another use landscape-block adhesive and give it at least 24 hours before moving the planter.

I made these last summer, but they sit in the continually, the adhesive did not hold up even until Autumn…..any suggestions? I did let them dry for a full 24 hours before I planted in them.

Edie, I made the planters also and I sealed the inside and exterior seams with a bead of the exterior adhesive for reinforcement and it has held together. In addition I waited 48hrs using exterior liquid nails. Hope this helps, the first set of planters I made came apart also until I changed the way they were constructed.
