DIY Sofa With Built-In Storage Made Of 6 Pallets
A sofa is one more thing you can make from pallets. It’s a real money saving solution but you need several pallets depending on the sofa’s size. For example, 6 pallets were used in this project. They were painted and covered with upholstered foam pillows. The cool thing about such sofa is that it isn’t only cheap but also practical. There is plenty of storage space for books, magazines, DVDs and other stuff inside of it.

Where did you find the foam pillows. I’ve been looking for some and finding them is the only thing holding me back from this project!

You can get the foam in sheets at your local material store. We have handcocks where I live and they usually have them in stock

Is there any cheaper way to get the foam? I have found it at hancocks but its $75 for a 4 inch thick 22 inch wide 6 foot long peice, making it a couple hundred dollars to do the bottom cushion and only part back cushion. Anyone know any cheaper ideas?

@Kristin- I was just looking into the fabric foam and found onlinefabricstore.net has decent prices. With that said, if your pallets are free, $200-$300 for a new sectional couch is unheard of.

Am I missing the explanation link or is it just the pictures? If so, does anyone know what the boards are between the stacked pallets? Thanks!
