Carved-Out Cave House
The Sleeper Family Sandstone Cave Home
The Sleeper Family Sandstone Cave House is one-of-a-kind. It’s carved out right inside the cave located on a limestone and sandstone mining site. The family bought the land for $160,000 and spent another $150,000 to make the cave a three-bedroom home. Even though this cave have rough stone walls it also has hardwood floors and other qualities of a cozy home.
