    Anytime I see headboards with cubby space or shelving over the head of the bed, it terrifies me. Then again, I come from an area where earthquakes are unpredictable & somewhat frequent. Still, I would never want any chance of toys/books/items falling on my child in their sleep. If you do have shelving over a bed, please find a way to secure everything on them so they don’t fall on you/your child.

    Yes, I agree about putting items on a wall over a child’s sleeping area. It is dangerous and little boys like throwing balls and pillows around while playing. I love the ideas without the safety hazards.
