Small Windowsills
Find a proper windowsill in any room – living room, bedroom or dining space; a great idea is to use a balcony windowsill if you have a balcony. Even if your windowsill is small or very narrow – no problem, the main idea is that it should accommodate a laptop or a book. Add shelves on the sides to accommodate more things, go for built-in and open shelving, if the windowsill is thick, build in some drawers for storage.

Larger Windowsills
If your windowsill is large enough, you are lucky! You can create a large and comfy workspace, whatever the room is, and it can be even a shared one. Go for a thick windowsill to accommodate drawers inside it. Add open storage, open shelving and voila – your working is comfy! Such an idea is great for small kids rooms, too, your kid can study at a windowsill desk if there’s no other space.
