Here’s one more simple and cute idea, prepare a hand held compact router fitted with the inclusive edge guard + 1/8″ drill bit, spray paint, a door mirror, duct tape, industrial strength adhesive, two unfinished handrails cut down to 6′. Save yourself the time and trouble when you purchase your wood hand-railings, and ask the hardware store to cut them down to 6′ feet long in the store for you. Spray paint the handrails the color of your choice, or leave them au naturale. Figure out where on the handrails you’d like the mirror to sit, and mark the location on the “side” of the handrail.
