While decorating your living room for the fall, there’s one main point that can easily turn on the fall mood – a fireplace. But we often speak of mantel decor while there are fireplaces that have no mantel – built-in ones and most of faux ones, and what should we do with them? Here are some ways to style a fireplace for the fall that is already here, and most of these ideas can be easily switched to Halloween and Thanksgiving decor.
Pumpkins In The Fireplace
If your fireplace is a non-working (currently or all the time) one or it’s a faux fireplace, you may decorate right inside it – place some lovely pumpkins! The pumpkins can be faux or natural ones, you may go for any colors you like, and all you need to do is just to stack them. You may add firewood, leaves and blankets around it and make your fireplace even cooler. How to transform it into a Halloween one? Attach some paper bats to the side of the fireplace and voila! How to switch this decor to Thanksgiving? Add a couple of signs and a plaid blanket or pillows.

Decor In Front Of The Fireplace
Decorating in front of the fireplace can easily be done with any fireplace, whether it’s a working or a non-working one, this styling can be added to some pieces inside and a mantel decorated for the fall.
