DIY Tableware Tabletop Lamp

Diy Teapot Tabletop Lamp

If you liked cozy lamps made of tableware you probably wonder how to make one by yourself. It’s relatively simple so if you have some vintage china teapots you don’t use you can make an awesome tabletop lamp from them. Several color-coordinated simply shaped teacups, pots, saucers and small bowls would be more than enough. Besides them you’ll need Super glue gel, some self-hardening clay, a simple lamp shade and a socket-and-cord unit.

First of all you need to find a balanced arrangement. It’s a good idea to use large, heavy items on the bottom and lighter teacups above them. After you’ve done with the composition, fill the top cup with self-hardening clay and press in a socket-and-cord unit an inch deep into it. Then let the clay harden for 24 hours. After that glue together all elements using Super Glue gel. After a day screw a standard lamp shade to the lamp and you’re done. If you want to make the lamp even more sophisticated you can drill all tableware to put the cord through it.
