DIY Masquerade Mask Upgrade

Diy Masquerade Mask Upgrade

A cool mask is a necessary thing for any masquerade, and in a month we’ve got Halloween parties. To make a cool mask for the kids’ masquerade you’ll need fabric scraps, craft store masks, embellishments (ribbon, jewels, glitter, feathers), Mod Podge, glue, scissors and a paintbrush. Cut fabric about an inch larger than mask all the way around.  Snip the knot off one end of the elastic and pull the elastic out of the mask by the other hole.  Set the elastic aside for later. Press fabric to mask, making sure to press down and smooth wrinkles where mask bends. Read the end of the tutorial here, finish the mask and make your kids happy!
