DIY Chunky Stained Wooden Shelves

Need a couple of simple wooden shelves for some little nook? Read this tutorial from BeckhamAndBelle blog! The supplies are 1 1″x4″x6′- for front of shelf, 1 1″x3″x6′ – for support sides, 1 2’x4’x1/4″ plywood – for top and bottom of shelf. Cut a 2-foot piece off of the 1″x4″. Measure the depth of the nook (14″) and subtract off about an inch to account for the depth of the front piece. Cut two 13″ pieces off of the 1X3. Use a table saw to cut 2 13″x24″ pieces out of plywood. Stain your shelves if you need and let them dry. Once the stain was dry, use the laser and attach the two 13″ side pieces to the wall studs with a couple of screws. Read what to do next in the source.
