The easiest way to make a piece is to sew it: make a caddy with several pockets for magazines, remotes and newspapers, be creative about the fabric – quilted, vintage or bright. If you need a beverage holder, better make it of plywood – measure the arm of the sofa and cut the plywood accordingly, then just glue or nail it and put on the arm.
