DIY Pallet Floating Shelving System
Pallets are great for many DIY projects. They are usually free and can be used to make coffee tables, desks, headboards, vertical gardens and even stairs. Here is one more practical way to use them. You can make an awesome floating shelving system in a matter of minutes. The one on pictures is done by Amanda Carver and there isn’t anything you should know about the process. It’s really simple. Just hang the pallet and you’re done. You can also can sand it to get a better looking shelving system.

Was your shelf heavy? Mine seems almost way to heavy to hang on a wall. What did you use?

Same here! This thing is HEAVY!! More info please…what kind of hanging process/nails did you use?

These have to be mounted to the wall (just like a television or large picture) You can find heavy duty anchoring at Home Depot or Lowes, and they should probably be hung where wall studs are located. Simple nails, or a screw, just will not do with this type of weight. I hope this is helpful
