DIY Mason Jar Chandelier

There are a lot of things that you can make using Mason jars. For example they could become a lamp shades for a creative chandelier. We studios come up with such idea when they were creating an eye-catching centerpiece that could light up a studio where it would hang. They have used 12 wide mouth Manson jars lit from within by compact fluorescent bulbs. To make such chandelier you can use several things from IKEA. Kroken-ceiling mounted utensil rack and Hemma-black cord set would be enough. The process is very simple and the result is quite impressive so we are happy to encourage you to make such chandelier.

You need to drill holes in tops of all jars. Next you need to put all light fixtures inside them and attach all jars to the utensil rack. Now you can hang the rack to your ceiling.

I thought that florescent lightbulbs should not be used in enclosed fixtures.
